On December 31, U.C. 0079, the Earth Federation and the Principality of Zeon engage in the final battle of the One Year War at the Zeon space fortress A Baoa Qu. Federation pilot Hugues Courand and Zeon ace Erik Blanke experience the horrors of the battle by witnessing the destruction of their respective mobile suit squads.
