동생 강산이 27년 전 모습 그대로 생존해 있음을 직접 확인한 하늘은 경악을 금치 못한다. 현수과 병만 역시 그들이 만난 '이강산'과 27년 전 '이강산'이 말은 안되지만 동일인물일 가능성에 대해 생각하기 시작한다. 한편 강산은 머릿속에 나타났던 미스테리한 십자가 문신의 정체를 깨닫고, 동주와 함께 진실을 파헤치기 위한 첫 걸음을 내딛는다.
