Barry's poor command of French lands his minister in trouble when he takes him to meet several prostitutes instead of a delegation from the Women's Lib organization.
Sir William postpones a trip to Paris to spend time with his latest conquest Susie. As they are out to dinner a burglar breaks in but is disturbed by Sir William's wife and Barry Ovis. William and Susie return and things quickly unravel.
Barry has to warn his minister that the beautiful girl he is with, is in fact a Russian Agent.
Can it be true that Barry Ovis actually connived at the theft of some of the Minister's treasures? Mistaken identities don't help the inspector-but Barry is set for a happy ending.
For once, more sinned against than sinning, Sir William learns what it feels like to be deceived: his Lady wife seems to have become a woman of affairs.
