Originally entitled Lowbrow, this pilot episode was shown during Cartoon Network's 2002 Summerfest, wherein eight original Cartoon Cartoon pilots were shown. It was chosen as the most popular among viewers, and Lowbrow was greenlit and retitled Megas XLR. The plot is a shorter version of the first full episode "Test Drive"
