"Volta por Cima" tells the story of Madalena, known as Madá, a hard-working young woman who had to postpone her personal dreams to help support her family. Despite the difficulties, she does not give up in the face of her daily struggles and sees entrepreneurship as the path to a more prosperous future. And the story of Jorge, known as Jão, a young man who started out as a bus conductor, worked hard to earn his dream degree in business administration and now aims for a better position in the company, but is passed over by a friend of his boss's wife. There are thousands of Madalenas and Jãos in Brazil: people who seek a better life for themselves and their families every day and have to deal with the challenges that fate brings.
