Im Radio kommt Magnum die Stimme der Moderatorin bekannt vor: Vor einigen Jahren galt Holly als beliebteste Sprecherin bei "Radio Vietnam". Jetzt ist sie in Hawaii und hat ernste Probleme: Ein irrer Anrufer terrorisiert sie. Magnum will ihr helfen.
With help from T.C. and Rick, Thomas is preparing a surprise construction for Higgins' upcoming birthday, when they wager a bet that a presenter on a local radio station is the same woman that was a much-loved presenter for the troops in Saigon. Thomas goes to the radio station to try and confirm whether it is indeed the same person or not and finds that she is the self same person, but now is being terrorised by malicious death threats phoned in to the station. The woman also has been searching for her lover, with whom she lost contact with 12 years ago during the war, when the man was accused of theft and disappeared, and asks Thomas' help in finally finding him...

Magnum sta preparando una sorpresa per il compleanno di Higgins insieme a Rick e T.C. e durante i preparativi i tre amici scommettono sulla voce della presentatrice radio, convinti che si tratti della stessa dj tanto amata dalle truppe a Saigon. Magnum si reca alla stazione radio locale per determinare il vincitore della scommessa e scopre che in effetti è proprio la stessa persona. La donna però, è turbata da alcune minacce ricevute e inoltre assume Thomas per ritrovare il suo amore perduto 12 anni fa, dopo che si è dato alla macchia in seguito all'accusa di furto.
Con la ayuda de T.C. y Rick, Thomas está preparando una construcción sorpresa para el próximo cumpleaños de Higgins, cuando apuestan a que una presentadora de una estación de radio local es la misma mujer que fue una presentadora muy querida para las tropas en Saigón. Thomas va a la estación de radio para tratar de confirmar si es realmente la misma persona o no y descubre que ella es la misma persona, pero ahora está aterrorizada por amenazas de muerte maliciosas enviadas por teléfono a la estación. La mujer también ha estado buscando a su amante, con quien perdió el contacto hace 12 años durante la guerra, cuando el hombre fue acusado de robo y desapareció, y le pide ayuda a Thomas para finalmente encontrarlo...
