今日の機動六課の任務は、骨董品オークションが行われるホテルの警備。
隊長・副隊長が揃った総員出動の中、ティアナはずっと感じていた疑問の答えを探していた。
Sランク揃いの隊長たちは勿論、自分以外の新人たち－スバルやエリオ・キャロたちの優れた能力や才能と比較して、あまりに平凡な自分。
と、オークション会場のホテル周辺に、ガジェットが現れる。
出動するシグナム・ヴィータ・ザフィーラと、現場管制を行うシャマル。圧倒的なその能力の前に、焦りと苛立ちを覚えるティアナ。
そして、オークション会場に運ばれたある品物を狙うスカリエッティは、旅をする「レリックウェポン実験体」騎士ゼストと召喚士の少女ルーテシアに『頼み事』を行う。
スカリエッティの頼みを聞いたルーテシアの召喚能力と特殊技能により、ピンチに陥るフォワード一同。
苦戦の最中、副隊長の合流を待つように告げられたティアナは意地を張り、鍛え続けたスバルとのコンビネーションでの一発逆転を試みるのだが…。
