Eine terroistische Vereinigung hat eine Atombombe in die USA geschmuggelt und droht damit, eine Großstadt in die Luft zu jagen. Durch einen Zufall wird der harmlose Pizzabote Rudy Zeuge der Aktion.
Sektion Eins glaubt jedoch, daß er zu den Terroristen gehört. Um sein Leben zu retten, versucht Nikita zu beweisen, daß er wirklich nur zum falschen Zeitpunkt am falschen Ort war.
Sie ist überzeugt davon, daß er sehr nützlich dabei sein kann, die Terroristen unschädlich zu machen...
A live nuclear warhead is smuggled into the states and the only witness to the act is a mentally challenged pizza driver named Rudy who witnessed the transfer. A transmission claiming that the warhead is armed in a random city and will detonate in 24 hours is intercepted and Section uses Rudy to determine who the man is that brought the warhead into the country - a traitor in the Agency. The location is discovered and with Rudy's help, Birkoff is able to determine the code that will disarm the bomb in time. Rudy is allowed to live due to his help and is allowed to leave Section with Nikita's assurances that he will never tell anyone of Section or it's whereabouts.

Un grupo terrorista pasa de contrabando un dispositivo nuclear hacia suelo norteamierciano y amenaza con detonarlo en una ciudad importante. Sin embargo, el traslado de la bomba fue visto por Rudy, un simple repartidor de pizza. Section One lo interroga creyendo que él tiene algo que ver con el asunto, pero Nikita cree en la historia de Rudy, que sólamente se encontraba en el lugar equivocado en el momento equivocado. A pesar de ésto, Rudy será cancelado, a menos que Nikita pueda demostrar que sin su ayuda, la bomba no podrá ser desactivada.
Durante una missione per distruggere un impinanto chimico in Russia, Michael viene ferito e lasciato sul campo. La Sezione ritiene che sia troppo rischioso salvarlo, tuttavia Nikita e Madeleine entrano nel paese come rappresentanti di cosmetici. Intanto Michael si nasconde a casa dell'infermiera Angie Georgiev convincendola a tenerlo nascosto per sfuggire al capo della polizia russa Egran Petrosian. Madeleine e Nikita trovano la casa di Angie e riescono a far fuggire Michael e l'infermiera. Si rifugiano in un aeroporto abbandonato aspettando la squadra di recupero quando la polizia russa li trova ed Angie verrà sacrificata. Nikita e Michael scopriranno presto che la missione di soccorso non era per lui, ma per proteggere Petrosian che si rivela essere un operativo in copertura da 17 anni.
