Kuttsukiboshi centers around two girls' "risky" summer vacation together. Kiiko is your normal girl, besides her secret of being able to move objects with her mind. When a new student named Aaya moves in, Kiiko starts to develop feelings toward her. The two will eventually then start their romantic relationship. Although everything seems fine, Kiiko does not know that Aaya has another secret, a secret that could ruin Kiiko's feelings and trust for Aaya.
L'histoire se passe durant les vacances d'été lorsque deux jeunes filles, Kiiko et Aya, s'embarquent dans une relation intime. La jeune Kiiko possède d'étranges pouvoirs magiques depuis un accident. Puisqu'Aya est la seule qui connaisse son secret, celle-ci fait passer d'étranges tests à Kiiko pour mesurer ses pouvoirs. Kiiko Kawakami è una liceale che ha ottenuto poteri telecinetici dopo un incidente stradale. L'unica persona a conoscenza di ciò è la sua compagna di classe Aaya Saito, per la quale la ragazza ha una cotta.

川上紀衣子是一位具有不接觸而移動物體的超能力的高中生，除她本人外，只有同班同學齊藤亞綾知道她的超能力。放暑假後，她們相約在空無一人的課室見面，亞綾給了紀衣子兩個相扣的星形飾物。整個假期中，學校猶如她們二人的城堡。然而有一天，紀衣子將手機落在了亞綾家，當她用超能力打開亞綾的家門後，發現亞綾正全裸與哥哥親吻。紀衣子尷尬地跑出亞綾家，相扣的星星也被解開了。
＜後篇＞
亞綾在體育館「綁架」了紀衣子，在離開時，紀衣子仍然拒絕原諒亞綾。後來紀衣子通過超能力讀取到了亞綾的記憶，瞭解了關於她哥哥絕症的事，此時亞綾已在離開日本的航班上。紀衣子用超能力將她移動到自己面前，事後，她們一起移動到了另一顆星球上，並在那裏生活。
アニメーション作家の石川直哉が監督、脚本、アニメ制作の全工程を1人で手がけ、2年8カ月をかけて完成させた個人制作アニメ。女の子同士の少し過激で危うい関係を描き、ニコニコ動画では再生回数88万回を記録した。女子高に通うキーコは、離れたところにあるものを少しだけ動かせる不思議な力をもち、妄想癖のある17歳。高校2年生の春、同じクラスに成績優秀で少し強引な性格のアーヤが転入してくる。2人は一緒に夏休みを過ごすが……。2010年に前編がDVD発売され、12年に後編のDVDが発売。それにあわせて前後編をまとめてイベント上映。
Kiiko ist ein ganz normales Mädchen, nur hat sie ein Geheimnis: Sie kann Objekte nur durch ihren Willen kontrollieren. Als eine neue Schülerin namens Aya in die Stadt zieht, entwickelt Kiiko Gefühle für sie. Ab hier beginnt ihre romantische Freundschaft. Obwohl alles perfekt zu sein scheint, ahnt Kiiko nicht, dass auch Aya ein Geheimnis mit sich trägt. Ein Geheimnis, dass Kiikos Gefühle und Treue zu Aya zerstören könnte.
