We return to Caine's past in China. Caine witnesses a man defeat six others in the village. The man instructs Caine to deliver a challenge. He demands a fight to the death with Master Kan or he will kill a villager every day until he gets it.

Ritorniamo al passato di Caine in Cina. Caine assiste all’incontro di un uomo che ne sconfigge altri sei. L'uomo incarica Caine di inoltrare una sfida. Chiede un combattimento fino alla morte con il Maestro Kan o ucciderà un abitante ogni giorno fino a quando non lo otterrà.
