The hotel is populated by Kostya and Nastya. They inspire the image of rich and happy people. Eve and Sasha have developed a plan on how to get the hotel from Margot. Varya is terribly jealous of Sasha. She tries to warn him against the lies of Eve and opens her eyes to what is happening.
