Christmas brings the good news that Monika and Joachim are expecting a child. After Caterina is incapacitated by a car accident, Helga takes over the management of the dance school and hires an Argentine dance teacher. Meanwhile, Helga's husband, Wolfgang, is overcome with remorse after a gay prisoner hangs himself. Wolfgang feels responsible. Eva has now become a successful gallery owner but there are troubling secrets going on in her marriage.
