يقيم سيد كناريا مع شقيقته الأرملة بعد خروجه من السجن، ويحاول أن يستقيم في عمله كخطاط ومصمم أفيشات، ولكن تنقلب حياة سيد رأسًا علي عقب ويصبح مراقب من عدة جهات بعد إغراق الأسواق بكميات هائلة من النقود المزيفة، ويتوجس شريكه القديم عواد - المتزوج من وفاء زوجة سيد السابقة - منه خيفة.
