Bottom of the Bottle (2)

Nicht nur bei Gary und Val hängt der Haussegen schief. Kenny hat eine Affäre mit Sylvie und setzt damit seine Ehe mit Ginger aufs Spiel. Gary muss sich entscheiden: zwischen einem Glas Alkohol und seiner Frau Valene. Weil Gary seine Ehe nicht aufs Spiel setzen will, geht er schlussendlich zu den "Anonymen Alkoholikern".

Gary and Richard get drunk. A drunken Gary takes an unconscious Richard home. Gary passes out and Laura offers Gary some coffee. Gary wants a drink and is very aggressive towards Laura. Laura calls Val as Gary tries to break into Laura's liquor cabinet. After Gary slaps Val in the face, she commits him to a detox ward. Kenny has an affair with Sylvie and his marriage with Ginger is strained. They make up at the Zoo as Kenny turns up in a gorilla suit. Gary escapes detox and goes to the bar for a drink. He is reminded of the doctor's trick when she made Gary choose between having a drink or Val. Gary decides to go to AA. (Way to go, Gary!)

La déchéance de Gary continue et Val organise les recherches pour le retrouver. Richard localise Gary dans un bar mais se met aussi à boire. Puis Gary essaye de forcer le bar d'alcool de Laura et de Richard mais quand Val et Laura essayent de l'arrêter, il blesse Val. Il est emmené dans un centre de désintoxication et commence sa cure. Gary redevient sobre et se rend à sa première réunion des Alcooliques Anonymes. Les problèmes de Kenny s'aggravent quand Ginger trouve Sylvie et Kenny au studio entrain de coucher ensemble. Ginger vire Kenny de la maison ce qui l'envoit droit chez Sylvie.
