รมิดา หญิงสาวกำพร้าตัดสินใจรับดูแลแมนยู ลูกชายของคนที่เธอเกือบจะแต่งงานด้วย แต่เขาประสบอุบัติเหตุเสียชีวิตไปก่อน แม้แมนยูจะไม่ใช่ลูกแท้ๆ แต่เธอก็รักและผูกพันกับเขามาก นอกจากนี้ รมิดายังต้องคอยต่อต้านศัลย์ น้าแท้ๆของแมนยูที่จะพาแมนยูไปอยู่ด้วย ส่วนศัลย์ก็ไม่เชื่อว่ารมิดาจะรักเด็กที่ไม่ใช่ลูกของตัวเองอย่างแท้จริง เขาเลยพาตัวเข้ามาพัวพันกับรมิดาและแมนยู ความรักที่ทั้งรมิดาและศัลย์มีต่อแมนยูก่อเกิดเป็นความผูกพัน
