Han-soo tricks Master Jang into standing as a witness for Pyo, a vicious criminal. He makes Master Jang make a false statement and get blamed for Pyo's crime instead. Princess Yeon-joo decides to help Han-soo punish both Master Jang and Pyo. After seeing what Han-soo is capable of, she decides to use him for her future plans.
