In a journey that takes him from industrial Sunderland to picturesque Robin Hood's Bay, John Peel meets musicians including Sunderland group Bleed, Middlesbrough-based Vietnamese singer/guitarist Kong, unsigned Darlington band Twosheds, percussionist Jez Nichols who teaches school children on Teeside the joys of drumming, Sunderland-based female quartet Comatose, and veteran folksters Martin Carthy and Norma Waterson at their home near Robin Hood's Bay.
