My boyfriend and I went to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom (a.k.a. Marine World) in Vallejo, CA for my 17th birthday and we had a blast! We did everything from riding Medusa to seeing Oden the Tiger!

Hi guys! I am 10 weeks and 3 days pregnant, getting close to the end of the first trimester, yay!
It took him a little while to find it but there is definitely a baby in there! The baby is a lot lower than I though, lol =) By any chance can you guys tell if the heart rate is higher or lower? For some reason he didn't tell me, enjoy!
Not much has changed this week but I got my first pair of maternity pants! The package that I got is called "Sign With Your Baby" by Dr. Joseph Garcia and Dr. Burton White, so check it out if you're interested!
Again, not much has happened this week! We started painting the nursery green like I wanted to, and after we find out the gender we will paint the rest of it either blue or pink =)

We got to hear the heartbeat again at our prenatal appointment and he said the heartrate was about 152 bpm. We asked him what he thinks were having and he said he thinks it's a GIRL! lol, It took him a while to find it again but it's definitely in there =D
I felt the first distinct kick on Christmas Day! It was SO cool and I feel movement every evening. Other than that I'm just updating on week 15!

I'm 17 weeks and 4 days pregnant! I am feeling LOADS of movement now however this week includes a lot of bad back pain! I find out what I'm having this Saturday, January 16, at 1:20 pm (Pacific Time) and I am ECSTATIC, so please pray that the baby will cooperate during the ultrasound! Gabe is really getting more and more excited and I forgot to mention he thinks he felt the baby move! It might have just been a twitch but the baby was moving while it happened, lol! And I know for a fact it's possible to feel movement on the outside as of last night when I saw my stomach jumping =) Remember this is the last week to guess the gender without cheating! ;)
So, we had our ultrasound and the baby DID cooperate =D Which means we found out what we're having!!!!! You'll get to meet some people in my family and see part of the ultrasound (make sure to watch the full video) =) We also had a little gender party at my house after the ultrasound. We're SOOO happy!

23 weeks pregnant already! We are SO close to finishing Lilia's room and we finally put up her name above the crib =) I had some MAJOR pregnancy brain in this video, can you image how much I mess up in my everyday life? lol, I also went thrift store shopping this weekend and found a purple bumbo seat, some cute clothes, some books, and even a shopping cart cover! All for under $20 of course =D

I've had an interesting week full of car crashes and the start of a nesting phase, but my birthday is next Sunday, March 7th so that's cool! I cant believe Im already 25 weeks! WOW. Anyway, yesterday was my birthday and last Tuesday Gabe and I went to our first birthing class, which was fun!
Lilia has had the hiccups everyday for the past week! She moves like a lil kickboxer but it's so much easier to see in person! Here's some footage I got of her hiccuping and having a party in mommy's belly, lol! My mom is watching and talking in the background as well =)
So I'm 26 weeks preggo, woo hoo! I have the glucose test this week and a doctors appointment on Thursday and we'll get an ultrasound, yay!
I'm actually 26 weeks and 6 days pregnant, but close enough =) Gabe was videotaping and trying to watch at the same time, so excuse the unsteady footage. The doctor said that everything looked great and I'm measuring perfectly, no problems. My "sugar test" came back good so I don't have gestational diabetes, however I am a just a little bit anemic but not enough to worry about it. Unfortunately, her foot was in her crotch so we couldn't confirm that she was a girl, but we'll just continue to go off of our original ultrasound =) Our next appointment is our LAST 4 week appointment! Then we go to our 3 week, 2 week, then 1 week appointments! It's getting SO close, I CAN'T WAIT! =D

My cousin, Amanda, and my friend, Amber, painted my belly like an Easter egg! They did a really great job! I'm 29 weeks and 2 days, Happy Easter! =)
We had our second 3D/4D ultrasound at 29 weeks and 3 days and it was a total SUCCESS! We got some amazing footage of our baby girl, and yes, a definite confirmation that she's a girl! The lady said there is no mistaking that our little Lilia is staying a girl =) She yawned several times during the ultrasound and made some adorable suckling faces! We can't tell whether she has my nose or Gabe's nose becuase she's squished in there but she does have our small ears and my long toes and we think my lips as well. Her face put together looks sooo much like Gabe though! What do you think? =)
I'm 29 weeks and 3 days pregnant! Happy belated Easter to everybody! We got our dresser/changing combo this week and set it up and it matches perfectly! Also, we had our second 3D/4D ultrasound and it was AMAZING! She is definitely still a girl and she showed us some of her amazing abilities, including yawning and suckling! I forgot to show what I got in the PO box this week but I'll definitely put it in hnext week's video =)
I CANNOT believe I'm 30 weeks already! The official countdown has begun! Less than 10 weeks to go and I still have no stretch marks on my belly (knock on wood!). =D

His face is really funny when she does that. He said that she is moving down, which is why you guys keep saying she looks lower =) And my next appointment is in 3 weeks instead of 4!! Sorry it took so long to upload! We had over 3 hours of footage so it took me a while to edit. And I'm so sorry a lot of the words are off from the picture, I have no idea how that happened! This baby shower was thrown by my side of the family on April 10, 2010 and Gabe's side will be throwing us one in May =) I was 30 weeks and 1 day pregnant and we had so much fun! Lilia got SO many things, especially clothes! We also got a bassinet, baby swing, infant bath tub, high chair, and a travel system so sorry I couldnt fit everything into the video! We played so many fun games and you'll see some of them in the vid. Enjoy! =)

Everything went awesome at the appointment! The doctor said she's head down and he could hardly hear her heartbeat because she was moving so much, lol! Our next appointment is in 2 weeks! =D
These are our maternity portraits that were taken while I was 34 weeks pregnant. My mom took the pictures with my camera in our backyard in front of sheet. They came out pretty good for being so economical, lol! Then I put together the collages on my computer =) The song was written, composed, and performed by Gabe's brother, Li, and our family friend, Cess. It's called "Lilia's Smiling" and was made specially for her =)

I've had quite an eventful week! I got my first visible stretch mark along with some more on my toosh, lol. And I got interviewed by a local TV station
I'm actually 35 weeks and 6 days, but close enough =) He checked me for dilation, hence the white sheet over my legs, and he said I'm completely closed, 0 cm, and my cervix is way far back and still really hard, so 0% effaced. I guess she's not getting here any time soon! I also got tested for Strep B and should get the results in about 4 days or so. I'm now onto my weekly appointments, so my next is on Tuesday! =)
I was 36 weeks and 1 day pregnant and I had so much fun! This one was thrown by Gabe's family and we got a lot of stuff! We also played some fun games. Enjoy!
I had such an exciting week!! I was asked to go on The View!! =D Unfortunately it didnt work out but it was SUCH an honor to even be considered! Ive had some random hot flashes and am still having that cervix pain. Also, I got the most amazing stuff in the PO box!!
So I'm 36 weeks and 4 days pregnant and my doctor said that she's officially down into the pevis! I'm also 80% effaced!! =D I'm still not dilated but he said that I have a "dimple" which means I'm almost 1cm! He thinks she's going to weigh about 7 and a half pounds =)
We finally put the car seat in the car and pre-registered at the hospital! At my appointment last week, I was 80% effaced and almost 1cm dilated and my next appointment is tomorrow =)
So I'm 37 weeks and 4 days and he said her heartbeat sounds great! He also checked me and said that I'm 1/2cm dilated and still 80% effaced. Not much of a change, but better than nothing, right? He also told me he could FEEL her head, freaky!! lol, And about the cervix pain I've been having, he said that it's just the pressure of the baby on the cervix, just what I thought!

I'm ready for her to get out now, lol! I had my graduation ceremony last Thursday which went great and at my appointment last Tuesday I was 80% effaced still and 1/2 cm dilated, so better than nothing! My next appointment is tomorrow.
Sorry about the different angle this time! He stood in a different spot so Gabe had to stand up to videotape, lol. Unfortunetly nothing has changed =( I'm still 1/2cm dilated and 80% effaced but I guess it's better than nothing! Kinda discouraging though since I've walked 8 miles in the past 2 days. I guess Lilia is planning on staying in there for a while!

So I'm 39 weeks and 2 days and hopefully this will be my last pregnancy update, lol! I've been having braxton hicks every night and I lost my mucus plug this afternoon!!! So exciting =)
So I'll be 40 weeks tomorrow and I'm SO happy! My doctor originally said I was 95% effaced, at a -2 station, and almost 3cm dilated so I asked if he could sweep my membranes and try to stretch me so he stretched me to a full 3cm! He said I can go to the hospital as soon as I feel like the contractions are bad enough, it doesn't matter how far apart they are and she'll most likely be born tomorrow!! I've been having contractions for almost 3 days straight but they're not close enough together. Looks like she'll be born on her due date!! =D
Lilia is finally here! I'll be making a labor and delivery explanation video soon to talk about everything that happened. I got her out in 4 pushes though! Talk about awesome =) She was born ON her due date which was June 18, 2010 at 5:12am. She weighed 7 lb 6 oz and was 19 inches long. She's abosutely perfect =)

This just started today. All day she's been coughing and to me it sounds fake. I know babies will do this to get attention, but this early? I know she's not sick, so that's why I think it might be just for attention because she just learned how to do it, lol. I just wanted to get everyone's input to see if you think it's fake as well.
I cannot believe she is 5 months already!! She can sit up completely unsupported, she fake coughs, and laughs all the time! =)

Sorry I don't have much footage for this week, Lilia had a horrible fever in the beginning of the week and we had to take her to the doctor. Everything is fine they said it was just a small ear infection and they sent us on our way but Lilia has been feeling horrible all week and she's just now starting to get over her sickness (and has since passed it on to me.. lol). Lilia finally took her first steps!!!!! It's April 12, 2011 and of course we got it on camera! =D I was almost home from school so I missed it but Drake got it on camera for me and I saw her do it right when I got home. She has officially skipped crawling and she'll be 10 months old in 6 days!! =D =D
She has 2 teeth, is saying "mama," and is taking more steps! At the doctor's visit she weighed 18 lb 13 oz and was 27 3/4 in long. She's growing wayyy to fast! Enjoy! =)

We had so much fun celebrating her first Easter! First we hunted Easter eggs at our house in the morning, then we headed over to my Grandma's (or "GG"s) house where Drake dressed up as the Easter bunny, then we made some rounds to some of Drake's family. Car accidents are the #1 cause of death for children under 14 years old. Although it's impossible to fully eliminate the chance of death or serious injury, there are steps you can take to significantly reduce the chances of anything happening. The American Academy of Pediatrics now recommends that every child be in a rear-facing car seat while riding in a car until at least the age of 2. Knowledge is power, and nothing is worth my child's life.

Drake, Lilia, and I made a 4 hour journey to Fallon, NV to visit Drake's mom and some of his family. It was Lilia's 1st official trip out of state! We stayed for about a week and went to Sand Mountain, hung out with family, and just had a good time!
Lilia is going to be 1 on June 18th which is just over a week away! I can't believe it! So we've started party planning for her first birthday party ever. It's going to be a Minney Mouse theme at the park with my family, friends, and Drake's family =)

I can NOT believe it. On June 18, 2011, Lilia is officially 1 YEAR OLD. The time went by so fast it's unbelievable. I'm so proud and so blessed to have such a beautiful, healthy baby girl. I love you Lilia and happy 1st birthday.
All the things we went through while trying to get things ready on the day of Lilia's party! Very stressful and hectic but worth it lol.

Since summer is here, I only have to go to school 1 day a week. So I get to be home most of the time with my loves =) This is pretty much an average day for me. Today was actually pretty boring but I think you kinda get the routine. This was filmed on Friday, June 24 and Lilia is just over a year old =)
Now that Lilia is 1 year old, her nursery has changed quite a bit! Enjoy =)
Lilia is just over 12 months old and I can't believe how fast time has flown by! She's walking like crazy, eating anything and everything, and turning into a toddler. Although I do miss my little baby, it is nice that she's so independent now lol.

This is just a glimpse into what it's like to have a family and trying to get out of the house for a day. This time took a little bit longer than usual but getting out of the house is hard work! =)
We made a family day trip to Half Moon Bay in CA, about 1 1/2 hours away from where we live and had a blast! Enjoy =)

We finally decided we were ready to get our own place! So we've been looking into getting an apartment for a few weeks now and finally found the PERFECT one! Rent is only $525 a month for a 2 beroom apartment and me, Drake, and my whole family are so super excited for us. Enjoy! =)

Just a few symptoms this week, nothing too extreme happening haha. Starting measurement: 33 in!
Lilia is 13 and a half months old and she can say "baby", "ball", "mom", "mama", "dada", "duck", "dog", "that", "what's that", "what is that", "shh", "no" and can follow a few commands such as "dance". I got a few on tape. Enjoy!
I had an appointment for verification of pregnancy and I'm definitely still pregnant! Not very many symptoms yet but so far everything looks good =)
