In 1992, thieves stole three original manuscripts by H. C. Andersen, from the poet's birth home in Odense, Denmark. Now Mette Frisk is trying to solve the riddle. She traces the matter track by track, and many new and surprising things come to mind. Some suggest that one of Europe's most feared terrorist groups may be behind the theft. Together with the world's only art detective, Arthur Brand embarks on the hunt for the lost adventures.
