The excruciating pain Lorelai must be feeling as she goes to the hospital for the birth of Christopher's daughter with SOMEONE ELSE! But, Rory needs her...so she is there! The heartache for Emily as she realizes her daughter and granddaughter are gone but then in the present day a small simple kind gesture when Lorelai bringing the dvd player....it's TOO MUCH FOR US TO HANDLE!
