The wind king gives a magic lamb to the poor bootmaker as a present, but tells him not to try it out before reaching home. The boot maker sleeps at one of his friends on the way home, and he speaks about the secret. The envious friend and his wife exchange the magic lamb for an ordinary one. The wind king gives the bootmaker a magic table-cloth which would always provide him with food and drink. Returning home, he sleeps at the same house and speaks about the secret again.
