The flags are out in force as the troops are back in town. Pete leads his men home and Claire could not feel prouder. It’s a bittersweet day for the Raveley’s though as only one of their two sons has survived the tour. Joe has no no welcoming party and he returns home alone only to find that Louise has changed the locks. Joe kicks the door down though and Louise points out that thanks to his cheating ways they now have to leave the family home. Joe and Louise manage to reach an agreement that will see Joe will tell the army they are happily married and Louise and the girls can stay put. Joe is not hsappy when he finds out that his freind Carl has been spending a lot of time with his family and he makes sure that he knows not to go any where near his wife or children ever again. Tom goes to see Tasha and he’s not surprised that she wasn’t at the homecoming. They later end up sharing a kiss. Paula can’t understand why Tasha’s not been around to see them. Louise is furious to find out that Carl has taken a beating. Following a confronation with Joe, Louise goes to collect Grace and Hannah from school and finds out that Joe has already taken them. Louise later manages to find Joe but the girls are nowhere to be found. Claire finds a drowsy Hannah but there is no sign of Grace. Louise is later relieved when her daughter shows up safe and well.
