The Samurai

Vor 200 Jahren hat McLeod der Familie des Samurais Hideo seine Loyalität versprochen. Nun wendet sich eine junge Frau namens Midoris an ihn. Sie ist ein Nachkomme Hideos und schwebt in Lebensgefahr. Ihr Ehemann, ein Unsterblicher, will sie wegen Untreue töten.

After Midori Koto sees her husband, rich industrialist Michael Kent, murder her lover, she kills Kent and runs to MacLeod for protection. She reminds MacLeod of a vow of protection his "ancestor" (MacLeod himself) made 200 years before. Flashbacks tell the story of MacLeod coming to the aid of the samurai Hideo Koto after MacLeod is shipwrecked in Japan. He vows to Hideo he will always protect the Koto family and is bequeathed the dragon head katana sword he uses to this day. Back in the present, MacLeod discovers that Kent is an Immortal and he's still alive.

Midori Koto surprend son mari en train d'assassiner son amant, prise de panique, elle part trouver Mc Leod. Elle le rappelle alors au bon souvenir de son ancêtre, il s'agit en réalité de lui même, qui avait fait voeu de protection envers sa famille et sa descendance, il y a deux cents ans au Japon.

Il discendente di uno degli insegnanti di Duncan viene da lui per rivendicare un'antica promessa, che contrappone Duncan contro crudele Immortale Michael Kent.
