Callisto ist durch einen Dimensionstunnel in die Vergangenheit gereist. Dort versucht sie, die Mutter von Hercules zu töten, um dessen Geburt zu verhindern. Doch Iolaus ist schon unterwegs, um Callistos Plan zu verhindern.
While Hercules and his double, the Sovereign, were stuck in the Netherworld, Iolaus traveled back in time to protect young Alcmene. But he couldn't prevent Callisto from killing Hercules' mother. Callisto then found her own family and, through a series of instinctive actions, she killed her mother and father. As more events began to go wrong, Hercules sent Iolaus a telepathic message: Get the Chronus Stone from Xena's scepter to travel back in time without Ares' help. Using a makeshift lightning rod, Hercules joined Iolaus in the past and sent Callisto back into the vortex, setting the timeline right.
Hercule tente de s'échapper des Enfers. Arès envoie Iolas dans le passé pour protéger la mère d'Hercule tandis que ce dernier tente de s'échapper du vortex où il est prisonnier avec son double du monde parallèle.
Mientras Hércules y su doble, el Soberano, estaban atrapados en el Inframundo, Iolaus viajó al pasado para proteger a la joven Alcmena. Pero no pudo evitar que Calisto matara a la madre de Hércules. Calisto encontró entonces a su propia familia y, mediante una serie de acciones instintivas, mató a su madre y a su padre.
