A power struggle threatened to send the peaceful kingdom of Meliad into war. Fearing the worst Queen Camilla summoned Hercules to the annual Festival of Dionysus. If Dionysus, the god of wine, did not find King Iphicles worthy to rule another year, ten lovely virgins would become drunk and slaughter the King in a terrible frenzy. Iphicles was a good king, but he was still in danger. Pentheus, the king's elder son, plotted with Ares, the god of war, to overthrow his father. Hercules battled a deadly eel and then overcame Pentheus, saving the king.
Hercule est invité à la fête de Dionysos, le dieu du vin, en raison d'un rêve prémonitoire qui pousse la reine Camille de Meliad à dépêcher Nestor, son plus jeune fils, auprès d'Hercule. Una lucha de poder amenazaba con enviar al pacífico reino de Meliad a la guerra. Temiendo lo peor, la reina Camila convocó a Hércules al Festival anual de Dioniso. Si Dioniso, el dios del vino, no encontraba al rey Ificles digno de gobernar un año más, diez hermosas vírgenes se emborracharían y matarían al rey en un terrible frenesí. Ificles era un buen rey, pero todavía estaba en peligro. Penteo, el hijo mayor del rey, conspiró con Ares, el dios de la guerra, para derrocar a su padre. Hércules luchó contra una anguila mortal y luego venció a Penteo, salvando al rey.
