He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (2002)

Der friedliche Planet Eternia wird von den Mächten der Finsternis bedroht. Skeletor, der tyrannische Anführer der Unterwelt, will mit seiner Gefolgschaft das Universum erobern. Dazu benötigt er die magische Macht von Schloss Grayskull. Diese wird von der Zauberin Sorceress gehütet. Sie überträgt dem jungen Prinzen Adam die Aufgabe, das Geheimnis von Grayskull zu schützen. Wenn Gefahr droht, verwandelt sich Adam in He-Man, den furchtlosen Kämpfer für das Gute. Zusammen mit den Masters of the Universe nimmt er den Kampf gegen Skeletor und seine Truppen auf.

"I am Adam, Prince of Eternia, defender of the secrets of Castle Grayskull..." This was a revival of the classic 80's cartoon He-man and the Masters of the Universe for the modern age, it focused on the early adventures of Prince Adam, who, having just become Eternia's most powerful guardian He-Man, had to learn how to handle his new powers, and lead his allies into battle against the evil Skeletor. With the aid of his own Evil Warrior henchmen, Skeletor schemes to blanket Eternia in chaos, and rule over the planet in dominion. Only He-Man, guided and advised by the Sorceress of Castle Grayskull, stands in his way. With the aid of his trusted friends and Masters, he vows to end Skeletor's evil and the other evils that plague Eternia including King Hiss and the Snake Men's evil. The battle is joined as Good and Evil collide in a fight for Eternia's fate!

בשנת 2002 כמעט שלוש-עשרה שנים מאז הסדרה האחרונה של הי-מן יצא גרסה מחודשת לסדרה המקורית עם אותו שם, הסדרה יחסית הצליחה אצל הקהל הצעיר והמעריצים. הסדרה שודרה בין השנים 2002-2004 עם שתי עונות ו-39 פרקים, הייתה אמורה לצאת עונה שלישית, אבל ההפקה ביטלה את הסדרה בגלל אחוזי צפייה נמוכים.

He-Man and the Masters of the Universe è una serie televisiva a cartoni animati che reinterpreta la omonima serie classica di cartoni del 1983; è stata prodotta nel 2002 dalla Mike Young Productions, in coincidenza con il ravvivarsi del marchio dei Masters of the Universe operato dalla Mattel dopo anni di oblio. Si compone di 39 episodi distribuiti in due stagioni. Inizialmente è stata trasmessa dall'emittente Cartoon Network in madre patria, mentre l'edizione italiana è stata trasmessa in prima visione su Italia 1 ed in seguito replicata su Italia Teen Television e su Hiro; la versione DVD è per ora prevista soltanto per il mercato anglofono.

Este fue un renacimiento de la clásica caricatura de los años 80 He-man y los Amos del Universo para la era moderna, se centró en las primeras aventuras de El Príncipe Adam, quien, recién convertido en el guardián más poderoso de Eternia, He-Man, tuvo que aprender a manejar sus nuevos poderes y liderar a sus aliados en la batalla contra el malvado Skeletor. Con la ayuda de los Evil Warriors, Skeletor planea cubrir a Eternia en el caos y gobernar Eternia. Solo He-Man, guiado y asesorado por la Hechicera del Castillo Grayskull, se interpone en su camino. Con la ayuda de sus amigos, se compromete a acabar con el mal de Skeletor y los otros males que afectan a Eternia, incluido el Rey Hiss y el mal de los Hombres Serpiente. ¡La batalla inicia cuando el Bien y el Mal chocan en una lucha por el destino de Eternia!

Il y a des années, deux dirigeants se sont battus pour la terre fantastique d'Eternia, l'un est devenu le bon roi Randor, l'autre est devenu le monstre maléfique Skeletor qui prévoit de se relever et de prendre Eternia. Pour protéger le royaume, les pouvoirs mystiques de Castle Greyskull ont choisi un héros - le fils adolescent paresseux et impulsif de Randor, Adam.
