The Hassetts from West Yorkshire have lived in their house for the last 20 years. The whole family claim to have experienced paranormal activity during this time. They have reported strange noises, cold spots and ghosts. Teresa Hassett says there is constant activity in their house, which they believe was once a Coaching Inn. The investigation centres around a dark and spooky cellar.
Nicola and Mel Munday live with Nicola's five children - Mel and Nic are very interested in the paranormal and they run a web-based paranormal group. They claim that activity in the house appears to have increased when they started dabbling with a Ouija Board. Mel and Nic believe they have invited a bad spirit into their home and it needs to be purged, because of its negative nature. Mia claims the spirit that they believe they have invited into their home through the ouiji board is demonic.
Lorraine Scriven lives with her two children Emma and Stephen in Birmingham in what they claim is a haunted house. The Scriven family claim to have experienced various forms of paranormal activity in their home over the last 18 years. They believed it was a harmless ghost, but recently say they have captured an image on camera of something far more sinister - a male figure in a dark hooded garment - which has completely freaked them out, particularly affecting twenty one year old Emma who will no longer sleep in her own room. Mia claims that the spirit of a man who died suddenly has been haunting the family.
Heather Harris who lives with her two children claims their Nottinghamshire home is haunted. The Harris's situation was so bad that Heather regularly left the house in the middle of the night, with her two children and took refuge at on her sister's home. She moved in a year ago and within a few weeks the paranormal activity began and has worsened over time. Heather claims to hear balls bouncing upstairs and children running back and forth across the landing. She has heard mysterious voices over the baby monitor. Heather believes that one of her children, Carly Beth, has been talking to the ghosts. Mia claims that the Harris house contains a portal - a doorway to the other side.
John and Katrina Elvin live with their three children in a house in Newcastle that they claim is haunted. They regularly claim that they see the solid figure of a man standing in their bedrooms and on the landing. Son Jonathan says there is a man watching him while he's on his computer. When he spotted the mysterious figure younger son Nathan was frozen to the spot. Mia says that she identifies a spirit who's trying to get in contact with John Elvin.
Bob and Shelley Stevens live with their 2 children in what they claim is a haunted house in Lincolnshire. Strange things started happening in 2003 when the house renovations began. Objects went missing and things are constantly moved around without explanation. All their family and friends refuse to stay in the house. Bob's wife took a photo of their home and they claim a face appears in an upstairs window although no one was in the house at the time. They also say a female ghost that they have nicknamed Mabel haunts the house. Mia claims that the spirit of a past occupant does not want to leave the house.

They claim that many members of staff have either heard or seen the ghosts of children laughing and playing in and around the building. Mia believes that the property is haunted by the ghost of a man called Frederick, wrongly accused of a crime involving a missing child.

Mia says she confronted two spirits, one good and the other a sinister entity.

Their mother Theresa was terrified when the bath mysteriously filled itself up, waking her in the middle of the night. Mia claims to have contacted the ghost of a young woman called Sarah who was desperate to find her sister.
Chris and Andy live and work at The White Horse pub in Ironbridge which they claim is haunted. Chris's son, Kris, is so terrified by the property that he refuses to live there. Much of the activity takes place after closing time when the pub is quiet. They complain of chains rattling in the cellar, footsteps, shadowy figures and orbs. Mia claims that she spoke to the ghost of a smuggler who committed suicide inside the building by hanging himself.
