Jerry Hawkins entdeckt beim Umzug in ein neues Haus ein altes Klavier im Keller, auf dem plötzlich ein Gespenst spielt. Am nächsten Tag bringt ihn seine Mutter zur Shreek-Schule, wo er bei Dr. Shreek Unterricht hat. Nach der Unterrichtsstunde erforscht Jerry die Schule, wobei er von einem mechanischen Ungetüm verfolgt wird....
