Good Luck Charlie

Amy Duncanová se po devíti měsícíh mateřské dovolené vrací do práce coby zdravotní sestra. Veškerá péče o malou Charlie tedy nechává na svém muži Bobovi a svých třech dětech Teddy, PJ a Gabovi. To se příliš nehodí Teddy, která má dnes rande s jedním z nejhezčích kluků na škole a je neustále rušena svými sourozenci.

Die Fernsehserie handelt von dem chaotischem Familienleben der amerikanischen Familie ‘Duncan’. Mutter Amy möchte wieder ins Berufsleben als Krankenschwester einsteigen, weshalb die drei älteren Geschwister (PJ, 17; Teddy, 15; Gabe, 10) fortan auf ihre kleine Baby-Schwester Charlie aufpassen müssen. Teddy, die zweitälteste dreht außerdem ein Videotagebuch, mit dem sie ihrer kleinen Schwester für die Zukunft helfen möchte…

The series centers on the Duncan family, who are still adjusting to the birth of their fourth child, Charlotte "Charlie" Duncan (Mia Talerico). When parents Amy (Leigh-Allyn Baker), a nurse, and Bob (Eric Allan Kramer), an exterminator, return to work, they ask their three older children—PJ (Jason Dolley), Teddy (Bridgit Mendler), and Gabe (Bradley Steven Perry)— for help raising their little sister. At the same time, Teddy, PJ, and Gabe try to deal with school and typical social challenges in their life. The events of each episode become material for a video diary Teddy is making for her younger sister. Teddy hopes the videos will provide useful advice for Charlie after they have both grown up and Teddy has moved out. Also at the end of each video, she (and/or other cast members) states, "Good luck, Charlie" or may even say it indirectly such as "Wish them good luck, Charlie". During the movie, Amy reveals to Teddy that she is pregnant with a fifth child, which Teddy is trying to adjust to but this story plot will not be carried into the actual series until the third season.

Quand Charlotte, alias Charlie, la petite dernière de la famille, vient au monde, ses frères et soeurs se serrent les coudes pour venir en aide à leurs parents, dépassés par leurs carrières respectives et la gestion de cette petite famille. La tâche est d'autant plus ardue que Teddy et PJ ne sont que des ados et Gabe n'a que 10 ans.

La serie è incentrata sulla famiglia Duncan, alle prese con il loro quarto figlio Charlotte "Charlie" Duncan (Mia Talerico). Quando i genitori Amy (Leigh-Allyn Baker), infermiera, e Bob (Eric Allan Kramer), uno sterminatore di insetti, ritornano a lavoro, chiedono ai loro altri tre figli - PJ (Jason Dolley), Gabe (Bradley Steven Perry) e Teddy (Bridgit Mendler) - di aiutarli nella gestione della casa e della piccola Charlotte.
