As a nation, the UK is incredibly giving and Going Back Giving Back is born out of this generosity. Presenter Aled Jones will explore someone's personal history to see how they can positively change the life of another. Aled Jones goes back to the 1930s to hear the remarkable story of how one woman's father rose above his childhood disabilities but lived an adult life shrouded in secrecy. On her journey, she meets an inspirational family who are facing their own difficulties dealing with a young daughter with a very rare illness.
