After resetting the timeline following the Battle of Waterfall, Sans enters his workshop, opens a drawer, and pulls out a poorly drawn picture of him, W. D. Gaster, and a blotted out figure. At the corner of the picture is a taped-on message that reads, "don't forget". Sans tells himself that he would never forget his dad, referring to Gaster, and that he will find a way to bring him back from the Void without killing anyone.
