Originally filmed in February, but loot crate wanted me to hold off from releasing the video till now. So since Anime in 2015 Part 2 is taking forever for me to complete, I decided to try my hand at unboxing videos, I unbox the loot anime crate.
Just an update on where I've been and what I plan to do.
Just another Unboxing video. This time it's the Loot Anime Duel and Equip crate
I was salty.
So yeah this is my first review I uploaded all the way back three years ago....yeah I did kinda suck then didn't I? This review was written recorded and edited all in one night...which is why it sucked so much. I started this whole reviewing business as a spur of the moment thing and never actually intended to do more than one video. Funny how things turn out eh? I remember getting happy to see 5 whole views in the first night of this going up. I should point out the reason I don't do reviews of ongoing anime anymore is cause my opinion of them can change. If I were to re-do this review for example, I would not be so kind to it and it would get more like a 5 out of 10.
My second ever video Yay! Someone saw my Bleach review and thought it was hilarious (dunno how he did) and requested I do lucky star. I said I would if I didn't have to watch the entire series and then 20 minutes of trying not to fall asleep later I wrote this video straight away....back when I could actually accommodate individual requests. Without that request I never would have continued reviewing so thank you to Water works productions (if he even still exists) And no I have not yet (and don't want to) see the rest of Lucky Star.
Ah my rant on the harem genre. Even I have a hard time understanding what I'm saying haha. That's cause I sorta used audacity to artificially speed up my voice...and I went a bit overkill on it. Now I can actually read at a fast pace without any help though, and that's why they say practice makes perfect.
Yeah I know this isn't a very good "review" and I ended up ranting about the fanbase a lot but, hey! whatever. I think that gave everyone the wrong impression, cause even though I gave this show an 8 out of 10 I still to this day get people thinking I HATE Haruhi. Well I don't....except for that endless 8 business.
I remember first seeing Evangelion when I was about 14 and it didn't make any sense to me. I re-watched it again for this review (age 18) thinking "yeah I'm smarter now I'll be able to get this show" only to be more confused and angry than the first time round. Oh well I heard the movies are good so I'll probably watch them all at some point.
I originally made this video with the intention of getting myself more viewers and....it worked! This was by far my most viewed review (think it got about 40 thousand views in the end) but in all honesty I'm not too proud of it. It took me ages to write and I had a huge case of writers block trying to think up jokes, which even when looking back on them are not that great and seem a bit cheap. In the end I was working on the script on and off for about a month.
Right after my Death Note review came my Black Lagoon video. I was a bit unsure as how to tackle this review at first, but then the phase "Crazy Killer Incestuous Vampire Twins" just popped into my head and for some reason the whole review just rolled from there, allowing me to finish it quite fast. Few anime have got my adrenaline pumping like the action scenes in Black Lagoon has, and I always found it funny how if you're a girl and you're in this show, then you are guaranteed to be bats**t crazy.
Hmmm, honestly I don't have much to say about this review. I still agree with it now and glad with how it turned out but honestly it just quite forgettable isn't it? That might be because the anime itself it quite forgettable now that I think back and so that rubbed off on the review, but I guess that's all I have to say for this one.
Code Geass, Code Geass, Code Geass, Code Geass. I did this review cause one of the few people who knows I do reviews in real life kept requesting I do this review, so I finally gave in and hastily reviewed it (I was actually more interested in getting my opinion of Baccano out). Little did I know that this review that I didn't actually give much thought to (even though I still agree with everything I say here) would brew about a million messages and comments going "when is R2 review coming out? Are you reviewing R2? Review R2 NOW!!!!!!one". For that reason the R2 review stood out to me more since I put more time and thought into it (since it was heavily requested), but again this was still a popular review.
Well well its time for my infamous (or famous) Baccano review. I had waited a while to do this one, cause I wanted to get enough subs to actually be able to convince a group of people to watch it, since when I reviewed the show it was completely unheard of and had just come out in the US. Now it has gained popularity and is no-where near as under exposed as it was when this review came out...which makes me happy ^_^
Everyone ready for it? SAMURAI CHAMPLOO! A sound clip courtesy of some random video with Johnny Yong Bosch shouting it. I stumbled across the video by random and as soon as I heard it I though "Yes, I am so using this in my review". As for the review itself, well I still agree with what I said back then. When I first watch SC I did expect it to be better overall, but good episodes but just too far between in comparison to Cowboy Bebop.
Well here's my Code Geass R2 review, a review I never would have done if it wasn't HEAVILY requested. Yeah I never planned to do this review because I knew I would just be ranting about the bad points, since I already covered all the good points in my first review, but you guys didn't shut up about it so I finally gave in and did it.
And after I released my 1000 subscriber I go and disappear off for 8 months which I know some of you guys still haven't forgiven me for (You know who you are.) What was I doing? Well basically I had my NHK and FLCL script floating around for that time but they just weren't up to par with my usual videos so I wasn't happy with them. In the end all the pressure that I brought onto myself to make my video funnier just resulted in me just completely losing interest in reviewing for a while.
Even though I had a script on FLCL I still wasn't fully happy with it, so I decided to review something bad and that was when I stumbled across school days. Boy was this an easy anime to review though I don't remember the last time I felt so much rage against a character so a lot of the time I was just thinking of different ways I would rip Matoko apart in a review, haha good times.
I went in to FLCL not really know what to expect, and I came out not really knowing what to think. The first time I watched it I was unsure whether I even liked it or not, I was thinking "ok that it was cool and funny but WHAT THE HELL DID I JUST WATCH?!" but after several more viewings it grew on me more. Anyway I know a few have been waiting for this review so here it is, FLCL.
This video contains less humor than my usual reviews, but I just wanted to do something new, hope you guys don't mind too much.
IT'S BACK. Needed to take a break from the countdown, but I'm planning to finish it this holiday, so hopefully expect part 7 soon too
Everything that has a beginning, must have an ending...
NO, I HAVE NOT SOLD OUT, I've had this idea of a anime rant for ages and doing a video about supporting the industry so me endorsing all these websites have nothing to do with getting picked up haha.
Just a quick extra to my industry rant that I made at the same time. Instead of focusing on the topic in general, I just focus on one recent topic about VIZ Media and the manga industry. This was really made as a response to all the video's I've seen on YouTube about it.
So I had this bright idea to try my had at episode reactions. Been working hard on two Rants which will be coming out very soon, but I've wanted to try doing episode reactions for a while now
Due to popular demand. I'm starting work on a review of this so it's gonna be the last reaction video.
You guys heavily requested my reaction/review of Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) Episode 5..so here it is!
After about a million requests, reaction/review of Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) Episode 8..so here it is!
After seeing the first episode of the swimming anime Free! I just had to do a reaction...
Today I review the anime movie Summer Wars for YouTube Geek week!
After seeing another episode of the swimming anime Free! And after all your requests for me to do another reaction. Well, here ya go.
Today I discuss the possibility of anime becoming mainstream over here.
After A LOT of requests, I decide to do another reaction to attack on titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) episode 21. It's a bit different from my usual reaction, but blame everything that happened in this episode.
Today I give a reaction to the craziest anime of the fall season. Kill La Kill!
Today on the Anime Zone I review all the anime and moments the mattered to me in 2013.
Today I return for part 2 of my 2013 run down where I talked about the top anime moments that stood out for me. In this video I talk about the Summer and Fall seasons while also looking at the films that came out this year.
So I guess this is gonna yearly thing now eh? Yes I have returned from my hiatus to give you my top moments of anime from 2014! Part 2 should be coming shortly after like last year.
I know they say better late than never but...I don't have a witty remark to end this. Sorry it's was super delayed. Blame full time jobs. And league of legends.
I am back! Today with a good old fashion rant on what I think is the Golden age of anime is.
One day, a prophesy was bestowed upon the grand Youtube anime community by a greater power. It read: "To everyone making reviews, stop everything you are doing because that is not important. From hence fourth, you must tell people what they need to watch in the seasonal anime. Or make Top 10 lists. Only then, can you become a true member of the anime community."
So I finished watching the ending of Charlotte today, and instead of going on a twitter rant like I usually do I decided to make a reaction video about it.
I have returned for yet another year retrospective, as today I review all the top anime and best moments the mattered to me in 2015.
Legend has it if Gigguk ever promises a video, it will never get done on time...
Today, I review the timeless classic and absolute masterpiece that is Bible Black.
Trying out a new format for this review/ first impression / summary/ recap or whatever else you want to call it. Today I talk about the first six episodes of Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World
Ever wanted to know everything there is to know about Tsundere? Well, you've come to the wrong place cause this is nothing you need to know about Tsundere.
Today I discuss how hype culture works for anime and whether it's a bad thing.
You guys asked for a review. I guess this is kinda one, but not in the same way that I used to do them. Today I talk about Kabaneri of the iron fortress.
Think of this video as a brain fart. I didn't come into writing it for any purpose, I just decided to write out my general stream of thoughts to see where it took me. This was the result.
Another brain fart video, this time I get personal and talk about my thoughts about growing up with anime, and my parents telling me I'd eventually "grow out of it"
Ever wanted to date a Yandere? Don't, I care about you. This is how to survive a Yandere encounter, along with other useless facts that come with Yandere.
Today I talk about my impressions on Re:Zero as a whole now that the series is over. Does this count as a review? Maybe, you decide.
Don’t ask me which parts of this video were my genuine thoughts cause even I don’t know anymore.
What if anime descriptions actually told you what you really need to know about an anime? Well, here ya go. Don't forget to give me you best description to your favourite shitty waifu.
I watched Kimi no Na Wa in theatres and it made me feel strange things. So I decided to write another brain fart and see where it took me. This is the result.
It's that time of the year again! Today I recap all the best, worst and weridest moments of the winter and spring anime season in 2016!
THE CURSE IS BROKEN! Today, I am proud to present to you, Part 2 of the best and worst of anime in 2016...before the year is up.
So Crunchyroll hosted an Anime Awards to showcase the best of Anime in 2016 and it was hilarious, for all the wrong reasons. This is an (accurate) account of what happened.
In a time of Anime crisis, MADHOUSE calls an emergency Anime Studios meeting in order to think up new, original ideas for anime.
So enough of you asked for a spoiler discussion/review of SAO: Ordinal Scale, so here it is!
Konosuba is entertaining for a lot of reasons, but today I use my worthless parody writing experience to explore one of them.
Guys, the Netflix Death Note Movie is gonna suck. Haven't you heard?
I watched A Silent Voice in theatres and it made me want to write about my love for anime. Crazy, I know.
The real seasonal anime guide you'll need for this coming season...and every season after that.
Having to been Anime Expo, Anime Central, Crunchyroll Expo, MCM and a load of other conventions over the year I felt it was time I did the actual convention guide that people needed. From budget to cosplayers to etiquette.
Originally I wanted to make a video about how Black Clover was the worst thing to happen to Shounen, but then I read the manga and I realized I was as much Shounen trash as I feared. This covers the beginning of the Anime but don't expect this'll be the last time I talk about it.
Just an informal discussion/appreciation video about Animation in anime, don't worry I don't actually have any idea what I'm talking about.
I just wanted to talk about music for a bit so I just made a little music appreciation video about all the little things I want to mention about Anime OSTs that were never going to fit in a full video.
This is my fifth year doing these year in reviews, and I swear one day it will kill me. Today I recap all the best, worst and weirdest moments of the winter and spring anime season in 2017!
Happy New Year.
So Crunchyroll are back at it with this year's Anime Awards, and have asked me to chime in on some of the best things to come out of Anime in 2017.
Crunchyroll were back at it again with the Anime Awards and this time, ya boi was invited. This was a 100% accurate depiction of what happened. They say ProZD is still clapping.
WE'RE GETTING ATTACKED BY BAD CG....or are we?
Today I take a trip through memory lane with the trend that was a massive part of my Anime fandom: AMVs. Yes I just got a greenscreen can you tell.
Today we get a scientific look at the different types of Anime fans that exist, and have evolved out of the Anime fans we used to know about.
Based on many actual conversations I've had.
This Fall season of Anime is actually pretty lit.
I'm back to talk about the Bunny Girl show that has nothing to do with Bunny Girls.
Today I take a trip down memory lane to reminisce on just how much abridged series have change, and how it's even influence even me in some of the videos I've made.
Merry Christmas to all of you! I know this isn't very Christmas-y but that's just how the scheduling turned out.
Before I start tackling the new year, just wanted to say a few things I couldn't mention in my end of year video! Shut up I am not late.
There are a lot of Bangers this season.
Today I take a look at One Punch Man S2, try to give a little more focus than just the Animation but in the end, there's no avoiding the comparison to what S1 had achieved.
Today I talk about I want to eat you Pancreas. No pancreas's were eating in the making of this video. And Anime. Hopefully.
So I finally caught up on Attack on Titan and was absolutely blown away by it, I never thought the series would get this good when looking back when this first aired, but here we are now.
Apologies if this is a little raw, I couldn't think of any other way to approach it. I wanted to get this out a bit earlier but I was travelling when the tragedy happened, and was unable to make anything until now.
There wasn't enough Isekai this season. Yes I know I'm late.
Now that one of my favourite manga of all time has gotten an adaptation and it DOESN'T suck, of course I needed to make a video about it.
I expected to make a meme video out of this not a serious recommendation video.
Today I reflect back on just what the 2010's meant for Anime as a whole, and how much the landscape changed in the decade.
People shinu if they are killed. (Translator note: shinu means plan)
So I think Tower of God could start a pretty big shift for Anime and this is why. Also I had an excuse to talk about Veritas and The Breaker and I was gonna use every chance to take it.
Grown man has a mental breakdown over trashy romance manga.
I am never gonna financially recover from this.
Who thought it was a fun idea to make a nice session of Anime shopping a stressful as hell experience.
Seriously though, please play the game. I need more friends who I can rant to about the pain of playing against the current Item Shop Rune.
Today I talk about the Hentai that made me cry. Yes, I didn't know I could shed tears over literal Anime Tiddies either.
Light Novel titles have gotten so stupid recently, that I bet a robot could come up with better ideas. So I built one. I made an A.I who's sole purpose was to make awful Light Novel titles.
I know this is a bit late, please go easy on me manga readers.
So Anime is pretty damn good who could've guessed.
You Missed 2021's Best Anime. Just watch it.

What happens when you mix Baccano! with Snatch? AWESOMENESS.
So yeah, starz media have helped me make money off my videos, which I never thought was possible since I used copyright stuff. I talk about that and the future of this channel in this video!
This my first unscripted, unedited video on camera and probably my last, but I needed to say something. I put this together in about 5 mins so I hope you don't mind.
So I actually recorded this last week, but didn't have enough time to finish it due to exams. I'm STILL doing exams so I'm sorry this isn't a review, but I've almost finished so I promise a new review will be coming out soon!
My second AMV, sorry to all those who wanted a new Review/Rant/EvAbridged.
I have no idea what this anime is about. That's why this abridged parody makes no sense.
A tale of procrastination as I try to make another Loot Anime Unboxing video.
The BREXIT sequel definately lived up to the hype, so of course I had to do something.
Today I unbox some deliciousness in this lootcrate!
I felt like talking about this spring season (and more) with a few peeps, so I invited a bunch of old and new names to join me! Will this be a regular thing? Who knows.
Eromanga Sensei ended with a symphony of trash so of course I was going to celebrate the ride that it was one last time
Yeah yeah, Jake Paul, Fidget spinners whatever. This is the only YouTube rewind that matters...since none of us YouTubers who cover Anime are big enough to make it into the real one yet.
