Ian and Ruth run a Welsh sheep farm in Rhayader, Powys. They have almost 150 acres of land, but they don’t have a garden, and Ruth has always dreamt of her own Beatrix Potter-style one: a country cottage garden mix of flowers and vegetables, along with family farming heirlooms. What Ruth doesn’t want is any patios, paving or decking. Charlie Dimmock and the Rich brothers have just £2,500 and whatever they find on the farm to create a beautiful garden in the middle of a large, empty field.
