Gleich bei ihrem ersten Auftrag als Babysitter erlebt D.J. die große Katastrophe: Der ungezogene Junge, auf den sie aufpassen soll, steckt seinen Kopf durch das Treppengeländer und bekommt ihn nicht mehr heraus! D.J.s sehnlichster Wunsch ist ein eigenes Telefon. Da sie dafür Geld braucht, übernimmt sie Kimmys Babysitterjob. Doch schon bei ihrem ersten Auftrag läuft alles schief: Der kleine Junge, auf den sie aufpassen soll, ist furchtbar eigensinnig und ungezogen. Als er vor lauter Übermut seinen Kopf durchs Treppengeländer steckt, bekommt er ihn natürlich nicht mehr heraus! In ihrer Not ruft D.J. sofort bei Danny an, der in einer einmaligen Aktion sowohl Geländer als auch Kopf rettet. Dafür fühlt D.J. sich ganz schön mies, und das Telefon scheint auch in weite Ferne gerückt zu sein...
Teaser: Joey makes Michelle think flowers can dance. Main Synopsis: D.J. wants her own phone number because having only one phone number in a house with 5 other people is driving her crazy. D.J. is willing to pay for the new phone number herself, but she needs a way to earn money, so she takes a job babysitting Brian Kagan, a little terror who really takes a toll on her. The guys are having a poker game in Danny's kitchen, and Becky and Jesse can't agree as to where to spend Christmas. Brian ends up getting his head stuck in the railing of the stairs in his house, and Danny leaves the poker game when D.J. calls him about it. Danny helps Brian, and decides to let D.J. have her own phone line because D.J. did the right thing by calling Danny for help when she needed it instead of trying to handle the situation on her own.
D.J. fait "exploser" son quota de minutes de téléphone en parlant à Kimmy. Danny accepte alors qu'elle ait sa propre ligne téléphonique si elle en assume la charge financière. D.J. accepte alors un travail de baby-sitting. Mais quand le petit garçon se coince la tête dans la rambarde de l'escalier, elle doit appeler Danny pour obtenir de l'aide. Pendant ce temps, Jesse et Becky décident de ne plus se disputer mais ils ont un désaccord sur le lieu où ils passeront Noël. Les copains de poker de Jesse lui conseillent alors de mettre un peu d'eau dans son vin.
D.J. quiere tener su propia línea de teléfono para poder hablar cuanto quiera. Para poder pagar los gastos se busca un trabajo como canguro. Mientras Danny se une a la partida de poker que suelen jugar Jesse y Joey con otros amigos.
