Danny lädt alle zu einem Urlaub auf Hawaii ein. Doch was zunächst wie ein Traum klingt, entwickelt sich zum wahren Alptraum, bei dem nicht nur alle in Streit geraten, sondern auch noch auf einer einsamen Insel stranden... Zur Feier des zweiten Jahrestages, an dem Jesse und Joey zu den Tanners gezogen sind, lädt Danny alle zu einem Traumurlaub nach Hawaii ein. Auch Rebecca ist natürlich eingeladen. Doch der Traum entwickelt sich schnell zum Alptraum, als sich herausstellt, dass Danny jede einzelne Minute der Reise verplant hat. Sein perfektionistisches Gehabe geht den anderen bald auf die Nerven. Bei einer Fahrt zur Insel Pua kommt es schließlich zum Streit. Als die Urlauber schließlich an irgendeiner Insel anlegen, weiß nicht einmal mehr Danny, um welches Eiland es sich eigentlich handelt. Und dann treibt auch noch ihr Boot weg...
Danny takes the Tanners to Hawaii in honor of their two year anniversary since becoming a family. While there, Danny becomes his usual controlling self and takes the family around together, including on a visit to a deserted island where he forgets to tie the boat and it drifts away. The family thinks they're doomed until they find out they are in fact on Pua Island where they meant they go for a show. Joey keeps seeing a hula girl he likes, and Jesse & Becky have an argument about Elvis.

Danny se lleva a todos a Haway para celebrar que llevan dos años conviviendo todos juntos. Danny, en un intento por tener todo planificado y controlado, acaba naufragando con la familia en una isla desconocida y sin poder volver, aunque finalmente resulta ser la isla a la que debían acudir. Mientras Joey no deja de ver por ahí a una chica hula por la que se siente atraído y Jesse y Rebecca discuten sobre Elvis.
