D.J. schmeißt eine Geburtstagsparty für ihre Freundin Kimmy. Doch die Feier verläuft alles andere als harmonisch. Kimmy hat Geburtstag, und aus diesem Anlass veranstaltet D.J. für ihre beste Freundin eine Party. Derweil hat Danny einen neuen Job beim Sender gefunden und moderiert nun mit der netten Kollegin Rebecca das Frühstücksfernsehen. Kimmy bringt zu ihrer Party zwei Freundinnen mit, die sich völlig daneben benehmen. D.J. ist darüber ziemlich sauer und macht auch keinen Hehl aus ihren Gefühlen. Daraufhin verlassen Kimmy und ihre beiden Freundinnen wutentbrannt die Party, und D.J. beschließt, dass sie ihre Freundin nie wieder sehen will. Aber es wird nicht alles so heiß gegessen, wie es gekocht wird....

Main Synopsis: It's Kimmy's 12th birthday, and D.J. has planned a surprise birthday party for Kimmy. When Stephanie slips up and mentions the party to Kimmy, Kimmy decides to bring her new friends Nina and Melissa, two older girls, to the party with her. Upon arriving, all Nina and Melissa want to do is invite a bunch of friends over to trash the house, so when D.J. kicks Nina and Melissa out of the house for even thinking about trashing the house, Kimmy abandons the party and goes to the mall with Nina and Melissa, and this starts a feud between D.J. and Kimmy. With help from Jesse and Joey, D.J. and Kimmy end their feud, as Kimmy realizes that D.J. doesn't want her to forget who her real friends are. Meanwhile, Danny is removed from his job as a sportscaster at the TV station, because the station has created a new morning show titled "Wake Up, San Francisco", and they need two people to host the new show. Kimmy amène deux filles du collège avec elle à la fête d'anniversaire que donne D.J.. Mais quand les filles plus âgées veulent salir la maison, D.J. les jette dehors. Kimmy part avec elles, et elle et D.J. mettent presque fin à leur amitié. Kimmy cumple 12 años y D.J. planea una fiesta sorpresa para ella. Al final Stephanie provoca que Kimmy se entere de todo y decide llevar a sus dos nuevas amigas, Nina y Melissa que son mayores que ellas, a la fiesta. Al llegar sus dos amigas, lo primero que hacen es llamar a chicos para que vayan a la fiesta, lo que provoca que DJ las eche, para evitar que destrocen la casa. Kimmy se va con sus amigas para ir al centro comercial, y así comienza una pelea entre DJ y Kimmy. Con la ayuda de Jesse y Joey, D.J. y Kimmy ponen fin a su disputa.
Mientras tanto, Danny se retira de su trabajo como comentarista deportivo en la estación de TV, ya que la estación ha creado un nuevo programa matutino titulado "Despierta, San Francisco", y necesitan dos personas para presentar el nuevo espectáculo. Danny es nombrado el nuevo presentador.
