Franklin is given an old penniwhistle by his father and carelessly trades it away. When Granny tells him that the whistle belonged to his grandfather, they go on a wild goose chase to get it back.; Franklin and his class were entertained by Ms. Panda and her piano. This inspired Franklin and Beaver to take up piano lessons from Franklin's Granny in order to impress Ms. Panda. However, while Beaver has the patience, Franklin's enthusiasm for his piano lessons begins to wane. He didn't realize how practice can really be perfect until he noticed how well Beaver was playing the piano while he was out goofing off.
