    This pilot episode was for many their first glimpse of huge headed Timperley legend Frank Sidebottom (Chris Sievey) and his squeaky voiced sidekick Little Frank. Joining him are Home And Away's Sharyn Hodgson, broadcaster 'Diddy' David Hamilton and British TV stalwart James Whale. Perhaps improbably (for many bemused viewers) a series was commissioned following this pilot. Billed on DVD as 'Pilot'.

  • S01E01 Olympics Special

    Frank thinks the Olympics should be put on in Timperley. Guests including footballer Lee Chapman and snooker legend Dennis Taylor join him to discuss the issue.

  • S01E02 Crimewatch Timperley

    Crime is out of control in Timperley so Frank tries to do something about it, with the help of guests Kevin Lloyd (who played DC Lines in The Bill) and John Stalker (former senior UK Police Officer). Music comes from the band Oceanic. Billed on DVD as 'Crimewatch'.

    Following the success of the original Live Aid, Frank dreams of putting on Live Aid 2...in Timperley, of course. Assisting him are acid house legend Adamski, Dr Hook's Dennis Locorriere, orginal Live Aid organiser Midge Ure, and music from The Farm. Billed on DVD as 'Live Aid 2'.

  • S01E04 Science Fiction Special

    Frank is in sci-fi mode and chats to a bemused Thunderbirds creator Gerry Anderson and Roy Lake (belongs to a UFO society). Music from Pop Will Eat Itself. Features the all time classic Frank song 'Space is Ace'. Billed on DVD as 'Science Fiction'.

  • S01E05 Summer Fete Spectacular

    Timperley Summer Fete, the title says it all. UK TV royalty Nicholas Parsons joins Frank for a chat, along with Julia Harris, a woman who does pet horoscopes. Music from Don-E. Billed on DVD as 'Bring and Buy'.
