Flat Out Fabulous is a unique makeover show for Generation Rent. You don’t have to own your own home for our stylish yet thrifty interior designer to come knocking. Whinnie Williams is a design queen who dares to be different and she believes that if housemates clubbed together and rolled their sleeves up, for just the cost of a big night out on a weekend, you can show an unloved rental some real TLC and transform it into a peng pad. Whinnie describes herself as the lovechild of Del Boy Trotter and Brigit Bardot. She has a love for all things retro and her mantra is to ‘plaster your personality all over the walls’. Whinnie is passionate about showing that home renovations don’t have to cost a fortune – you can have that million pound look for a tenner. Whinnie believes that everyone has the right to a stylish home and it doesn’t have to cost a fortune. Whinnie’s ignoring them with her own plan to create an 80s Miami themed space where the housemates can do the one thing they actually agree on – hanging out and partying. The magnolia walls are going to be replaced with a pastel mint green colour. The centrepiece is going to be a bar made using a customised vintage cabinet Whinnie found on a shopping trip. It’s going to be the perfect spot f
