Thirteen of Britain's brightest and most ambitious chefs compete against one another for a jaw-dropping prize - their own restaurant in one of Britain's most historic hotels. Set within top central London hotel The Langham, the competition is judged the venue's head chef Michel Roux Jr, alongside pastry supremo and hospitality consultant Ravneet Gill and leading global restaurateur Mike Reid. The remaining seven chefs are tasked to produce an extravagant dish using the finest ingredients money can buy. Exorbitant price tags and the world's rarest delicacies abound as the chefs compete to appeal to the Langham hotel's millionaire clientele. Those who fail to impress undertake a second challenge in a fight for survival. To prove their business acumen, they must devise a £30 lunch menu and run a busy Langham lunch service.
