Kenshiro bears heavy damage from his fight with Kaioh. Under the pretext of giving Akashachi a burial at sea, Shachi seeks to withdraw and give Kenshiro a chance to heal. Per permettere a Orca di portare in salvo Ken (ancora incosciente), i pirati si sacrificano contro Kaio. Quest'ultimo riesce però a raggiungere il ragazzo e sta per ucciderlo, quando viene immobilizzato dalla figura di un gigante apparso per proteggere Ken. Orca riesce ad allontanarsi e decide di aiutare il successore di Hokuto nella lotta contro i demoni.
Para permitirle a Orca rescatar a Ken (aún inconsciente), los piratas se sacrifican contra Kaio. Este último, sin embargo, logra alcanzar al niño y está a punto de matarlo, cuando es inmovilizado por la figura de un gigante que ha aparecido para proteger a Ken. Orca logra escapar y decide ayudar al sucesor de Hokuto en la lucha contra los demonios.
