    Join Lee Rayner in the first ever episode of Fishing Edge. This episode sees Lee head to Port Stephens on the mid north coast of NSW which is known for its sensational blue water game fishing. On this trip Lee meets up with his good friend George Trinkler where they fish close to shore for big longtail tuna.

    To kick the new season of ‘Fishing Edge’ off, Lee heads up the north coast of NSW with good mates George Trinkler & Quinn Scott to South West Rocks. The boys spend a day fishing at near by Grassy Head for Spanish mackerel during their annual run. The show is packed with tips and advice on targeting these pelagic speedsters and the guys get amongst some great fish on live baits & lures.

    Western Port in Victoria is one of the most popular locations for big King George whiting in the state. The fishing lodge here is run by CY Fishing Charters and on this episode Lee, along with Chris Beldon from Rapala, spend a few days fishing the remote waters of the surrounding Torres Strait. A fishing paradise with plenty of options.

    On this weeks episode of ‘Fishing Edge’, Lee catches up with Rapala Pro Anglers, Dan Grech & Jon Millard to spend a day fishing the north Queensland impoundment, Kinchant Dam. This dam offers anglers the opportunity to target one of Australia’s most sought after sport fish – the barramundi, in very accessible shallow waters. The boys catch a stack of great barra on some of the latest lures with many of them being landed only a stones throw from the shore! A great episode for anyone who loves this iconic Aussie fish!

An episode with of all the information you need to head out and chase these awesome sport fish for yourself.

    We start off this episode in South West Rocks NSW, where Lee heads out with mates Quinn Scott & George Trinkler to chase dolphin fish at one of the local off shore FAD’s. Then it’s off to the Murray River, west of Mildura, where Lee meets up with Lubin Pfeiffer for a couple of days of camping and some serious fresh water fishing action – catching and getting destroyed by monster Murray cod.

As you'll see, sometimes there is more to this style of fishing than you would normally think. Paying careful attention to rigging, bait presentation and even how much berley is used can greatly improve the chances of catching some great fish.

    The offshore waters of Port Stephens are famous for large numbers of marlin, however the inshore areas also hold plenty of those fish that dreams are made of. So with this in mind Lee and his mate Quinn Scott meet up with Local angler George Trinkler and head off in search of some estuary mulloway. Then for something completely different Lee heads down to Lakes Entrance at night to catch huge prawns on the run out tide, this is definitely the tastiest show we have filmed.
