First Look Inside a Billet Sequential Trans for my '67 C10!

The last few last big pieces of the puzzle to rebuild my slammed 1967 Chevy C10 project truck are now in place. We just installed a billet 6xdgearbox.com sequential six-speed gearbox and Mantic USA twin-disc clutch on the back of the supercharged Chevy LT4 engine. The transmission can be shifted through all six gears super fast and without lifting off the gas pedal or using the clutch. It's an all-aluminum case machined from solid billets and with o-rings everywhere for easy serviceability. The clutch is capable of holding 1,000 lb-ft of torque and can be rebuilt and upgraded for more power later on. Now that the trans and driveshaft are in and now we can make a realistic list of the remaining fabrication, plumbing and wiring jobs to perform we can drive this badass truck.
