Tama, George, and Elizabeth are given a final six weeks on a Māori kaupapa retreat to find themselves a spouse, or they forfeit their inheritance.
After the wāhine stage a peaceful protest, Tama is forced to work extra-hard to win their affections. George is stunned when a blast-from-his-past shows up and Elizabeth is nervous to meet her four competing tāne.
Elizabeth’s foster-parents pay a surprise visit to the retreat. The chances of Tama with Georgina look good until he has to take to the rugby field, and George fights his inner conflict.
The tāne are all challenged to perform waiata aroha and John is quite literally blown away.
Elizabeth finds it a challenge to handle new feelings, George finds it a challenge to handle Bridget, and Tama finds it a challenge to handle his buzz.
Tama and George decide to settle the score like the toa they are. Elizabeth makes a startling discovery.
