    For millions of people in Britain, going hungry is a very real issue and in this first episode of a two-part documentary series four famous volunteers put their lives on hold to live with families who can't afford to eat. Business tycoon Theo Paphitis moves in with a working mum who regularly skips meals to feed her daughter. Former EastEnder Cheryl Fergison meets a single man who has to choose between eating and keeping warm. Meanwhile journalist Rachel Johnson and Made in Chelsea's Jamie Laing both live with families who rely on charity handouts from food banks. The famous faces embark on the experience questioning whether UK food poverty exists but will living with a struggling household challenge their views?

    In the concluding episode of this documentary series, four famous volunteers try to untangle the complicated reasons and life choices that lie behind Britain's hidden hunger crisis and are challenged to try and help four UK households pay their bills and still put food on the table. Made in Chelsea's Jamie Laing finds himself living in a Sheffield tower block with a struggling single dad who introduces him to the unfamiliar world of charity and soup kitchens. Journalist Rachel Johnson moves with a family struggling to find work and to feed their children. Meanwhile, business tycoon Theo Paphitis attempts to help his security guard host find a solution to his family's crippling debts. And Eastender Cheryl Fergison is spurred into action when a responsible grandmother, who accounts for every single penny, is suddenly left with no money for food after a benefits mix-up.
