The series consists of the adventures of Rocky, a woodchuck and his mate Polly in the Green Forest. They make a lot of friends among their neighbors, and everyone works together to avoid the attacks of the different predators that put them in danger, such as man, the weasel and the fox.

In ogni episodio interagiscono e fanno la conoscenza con molti altri personaggi, che entreranno a far parte delle loro vite quotidiane, ed insieme tali creature collaborano per far fronte ai diversi pericoli della foresta, come calamità naturali, l'intervento dell'uomo, o le donnole e volpi predatrici.
