Comienza la segunda mitad y Kakei encuentra una forma de derrocar el "Wishbone", haciendo una carrera forzada para que Sena se enfrente directamente a él. El jugador de Kyoshin logra detener el Murciélago Fantasma con su técnica: Ancla Mobydick.
Durch die Wishbone-Formation haben es die Devil Bats geschafft, noch einmal aufzuholen. Nach Ende des zweiten Viertels liegen sie nur noch zwei Punkte zurück. Die Kyoshin Poseidons haben jedoch sofort eine Konterstrategie parat, bei der es Shun direkt mit Eyeshield aufnimmt.
