Season 2

  • S02E01 East Neuk of Fife

    The comedian visits the East Neuk of Fife, where she traverses the various picturesque fishing villages. Elaine stops off at Pittenweem and experiences its Arts Festival, helps out behind the counter of a fish and chip shop in Anstruther, and takes part in some light husky racing. She then travels west to perform her gig along the coast in Kirkcaldy.

  • S02E02 Ayr

    The comedian heads west to the seaside town of Ayr, where she visits the nearby birthplace of Scotland's bard Robert Burns, as Eddi Reader gives her a rendition of My Love Is Like a Red Red Rose. Elaine then swaps poetry for horseracing at Ayr races, before interviewing showbiz royalty Mary Lee Milroy in the Ayr Gaiety Theatre.

  • S02E03 Nairn

    The comedian travels north to Nairn, where she learns about the area from a local historian. Elaine then makes some cheese in a local dairy and turns her hand to weaving before performing her stage show.

    Elaine heads to Largs and Millport on the west coast of Scotland, where she enjoys line dancing and rowing and samples some ice cream made from a secret recipe. She then learns about the history of the Barrfields Theatre in Largs - the venue for her gig.

    Elaine heads north again to the Highland resort of Aviemore. She travels by classic car to work a shift in the sweetie shop of the Highland Folk Museum before travelling by steam train to neighbouring Boat of Garten where she performs her gig.

    The comedian heads to the Isle of Arran, where she learns about the clearances, makes some soap and takes part in a children's day at the Heritage Museum. Last in the series.

Season 3

  • S03E01 Inverness

    Elaine visits Inverness, where she adds her unique humour to a craft group for older gentlemen, participates in a laughter yoga class and visits the moving Scottish historical site of Culloden. She then rounds off her visit with a lively gig at the Eden Court Theatre.

  • S03E02 Fort William

    Elaine travels up the Great Glen on a barge, heading to the Highland garrison town of Fort William. Once there, she joins a roller-skating group, before taking a trip on the Jacobite steam train over the famous Glenfinnan viaduct. Elaine also visits the monument where Bonnie Prince Charlie raised his standard and returns to the town to perform her sell-out show

  • S03E03 Skye

    Elaine travels to Skye, where she visits Scotland's only Gaelic college and enrols in a beginner's class. Then she has morning coffee with Lord and Lady MacDonald.

  • S03E04 Lewis/Harris

    The comedian travels to the Outer Hebrides to visit the island of Lewis and Harris. There she helps out on a traditional croft, makes some black pudding, tries her hand at some weaving, before heading back to Stornoway to perform her show.

  • S03E05 Mull

    The comedian takes her campervan to the island of Mull, where she tries her hand at glass-making in Tobermory. She also goes pony trekking up the hills and takes a trip on a 1930s sailing boat to the iconic island of Iona, in the company of some local musicians.

  • S03E06 Barra

    • December 22, 2017
    • STV (UK)

    The comedian heads to the island of Barra, jewel of the Hebrides. She arrives on the famous beach by plane, visits some historical sites, joins an all-female walking and singing group, and rounds off her tour by performing an emotional gig in Castlebay. Last in the series.
