Jeweils drei Menschen spielen zusammen auf der Bühne. Zwar wird es am Ende nur einen Gewinner geben, die Kandidaten treten also gegeneinander an, aber sie quizzen immer zu dritt in einem Gruppenverbund. Antwortet eine Person aus dem Verbund korrekt, sind alle drei Spieler weiterhin im Rennen. Antwortet niemand, scheiden alle drei Personen raus und werden durch die nächsten drei in der Schlange ersetzt. Buzzert und antwortet eine Person falsch, ist sie ebenfalls raus und der Nächste aus der Wartereihe rückt an ihre Stelle nach. Die anderen beiden Mitspieler bleiben im Rennen und es geht mit der nächsten Frage weiter. Zum Buzzern bleiben nach Nennung der Frage 90 Sekunden Zeit. Die jeweilige Antwortzeit nach dem Buzzern beträgt fünf Sekunden. Insgesamt werden 25 Quizfragen gestellt. Wer bei der 25. Frage am schnellsten buzzert und die richtige Antwort nennt, gewinnt 100.000 Euro.

Three people play together on stage. There will only be one winner at the end, so the candidates compete against each other, but they always play the quiz in groups of three.
