I was lucky enough to sit down with Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy at the White House in Washington DC to discuss his job, America’s medical goals, and our nation’s emergence from COVID-19. Having served under the Obama administration and the Biden administration, Dr. Murthy is as experienced and savvy as it gets with battling medical misinformation. We dove deep into mental health and battling loneliness, which has been around long before the pandemic and unfortunately rears its head in many forms. We also spoke at length about the harsh reality of physician burnout.
